The IN team

Four Marin locals who looked at the post-election wreckage, found each other, and decided misery loves company. But, productive company.

We started in February 2025, somewhere between the grief spiral and the "okay but actually what do we DO" phase. We're not lifelong activists. Before this, we weren't even friends. We're campaign vets, data nerds, community organizers, writers, devs, marketers, and event planners. We have a shared progressive streak and a deep appreciation for a well-earned happy hour.

We're also parents, caregivers, and fully booked humans who are somehow doing this anyway. Because the alternative is doom-scrolling alone, and we've already tried that.

Indivisible + IN

In 2016, Indivisible dropped a guide on how to resist. What it became is a whole movement — millions of people nationwide fighting for inclusive democracy.

We're Indivisible Novato (IN), one of thousands of local groups powered by Indivisible National: a team of organizers, strategists, wonks, and data specialists who power local groups to grow. We lobby congress. We build coalitions. We run campaigns. We develop advocacy strategy. We practice relational organizing for long-term change.

And our members make it real, bringing it to everyday life: grassroots action, electoral power, and community care.
